A longtime resident is Anne Roberts whose photos bring the viewer along on adventures in Kane Valley and down along the Nicola and Coldwater Rivers.  Take a walk with Anne and see the wildlife, the plants, and the people who live and play here in the Nicola Valley.

Looking for something different? Heidi Koehler will take you from White Tigers to the rural places of British Columbia and down to the delicate perspective of flowers at the macro level and back up to the perspective of a winged predator.

You’ll love the diverse subject matter of this wonderfully talented photographer.

New to the Nicola Valley, Jack Picken has a great eye for compositions and whimsical nature shots.   His lens shows the wonders of the valley as he explores and becomes acquainted with his new home.   With his landscapes, you’ll see a freshness that only comes with new appreciation that many of us take for granted.

This is a full and exciting show from three of the area’s most exciting photographers.  The show runs from April tthrough April 24, with a reception on April 16 from 5-7pm.  The public is invited to attend.

The Nicola Valley Community Arts Council is also holding a fundraising Steak/Chicken dinner at the Grand Pub & Grill on April 21, 2010. Tickets are available at the Courthouse Art Gallery, the Grand Pub & Grill and Merritt Printers.
